What is vocal recording?
You'll come to my studio to record your vocals for any project you may need them for. I will be your engineer; I will track your vocals, edit, compile all your best takes, and prepare all the tracks for your project.
What is vocal production?
A producer has many roles that may include, but are not limited to, gathering ideas for the project, proposing changes to the lyrics/melody/arrangements, coaching the vocalist in the studio, co-writing, controlling the recording sessions, and supervising the entire recording process. I offer this service specific to vocals. You can either package this with a recording session, or I can produce your vocal session at another studio with another engineer.
How do I book a session?
In order to book a session, I require a non-refundable down payment that will go towards the final price. Down payments are required to prevent cancellations that would otherwise be filled with a paying customer. The down payment amount will be determined based on the total amount. You can book a session by filling out this Google Form.
Where is your studio located?
I am located in Vaughan, Ontario, just outside of Toronto. If you are from out-of-town, you are responsible for your own transportation and overnight accommodations.
How much do you charge?
Recording and production rates are negotiated on a per song/project basis. I’ll do my best to accommodate indie budgets. Production rates are typically bundled as an additional part of tracking/recording.
Do you offer full-band recording, mixing or mastering?
No. This is not my specialty nor what I've trained doing. Vocals only, please!
What payment types do you accept?
I accept cash, e-transfers, and PayPal.
